Description
Eight strands of white Momi shells are strung in the zig-zag Ginger pattern for this Ni’ihau shell lei, drawn together at a cowry Polehole clasp. The Ke’oke’o white runs consistent from strand to strand, so the eight rows read as one full rope of shells. The lei measures approximately 36 inches in length and wears at a drop of about 18 inches.
This item was made in Hawaii, and is at least 80% Niihau shell. The actual percentage of Niihau shell in this item is 100%.
