Description
Strung in the spiraling Poepoe style, this multi-color Ni’ihau shell necklace mixes tiny Kahelelani shells in pink, red, tan, and pale cream along its full length, the colors shifting in soft bands as the strand turns. A matched pair of bumpy apu’upu’u cowrie shells, each approximately 26 to 28mm, closes it at the back with a hook and eye. At about 20 inches in length, the necklace falls just below the collarbone.
