Description
Four strands of momi dove shells, shading from lenalena off-white into pale yellow, are hand-strung into this Ni’ihau shell lei in the interlaced pikake style. The strands run close to 36 inches in length and tie together at an apu’upu’u cowrie shell, its bumpy textured back serving as the closure. Worn, the four ropes hang together in a single easy drop.
