Description
Strand after strand of tiny Kahelelani and Kamoa shells builds this Ni’ihau lei, worked in the Maunaloa style into a full rounded rope of bright pink, pale pink, red, and green-tan. The colors run in irregular ribbons down the full length, and a Poleholeho cowrie shell closes the ends. The lei measures approximately 35 inches in length. Worn, the rounded rope carries its color the whole way around the neck.
