Description
This jadeite jade dragon pendant has an intricate pierced carving, with curling details that draw the eye through its varied white and green tones. A 14K yellow gold bail adds a warm accent above the rectangular tablet. The jade is semi-transparent to translucent and measures approximately 44.3 x 30.7 x 5.4 mm, excluding the bail. The complete pendant weighs approximately 16.3 grams.
The included GIA report identifies the jadeite as polymer impregnated, with no indications of dye, a treatment classification known as B jade. The pictured chain is not included. Smooth raised curves and deeper carved details give the dragon a particularly expressive appearance.
