Description
Tiny Kahelelani shells in Ke’oke’o white, Akala Pua pink, Ula Ula red, Oma’oma’o green, and Maku’e burgundy color this ten-strand Ni’ihau shell lei, strung in the Mauna Loa style so the shades shift and mingle down every strand. The strands close at a Malina Onikiniki Poleholeho cowrie of approximately 30 by 21 millimeters. The lei runs about 38 inches in length and wears at a 19 inch drop. This lei was strung entirely by hand in Hawaii from shells gathered on Ni’ihau.
This item was made in Hawaii, and is at least 80% Niihau shell. The actual percentage of Niihau shell in this item is 80%.
