Description
A leaf-and-bud cap of 14K yellow gold crowns this carved jade pendant, the gold worked into open petals over the top of the stone and stamped 585 at the bail. The jade shades from pale green at the crown to a warm russet-brown at its base, carved in relief with what appears to be a robed figure among foliage. The panel measures approximately 57 by 39mm and weighs close to 49.1 grams, a substantial piece in the hand.
