Description
Three strands and three momi shell colors make up this Ni’ihau lei, ke’oke’o white, pale yellow lenalena, and dark-spotted onikiniki, hand-strung in the interlaced pikake style. The colors shift in soft bands of cream, gold, and speckled brown along each strand. The strands run approximately 40 inches in length and gather at a bumpy ‘apu’upu’u cowrie shell at the closure.
This item was made in Hawaii, and is at least 80% Niihau shell. The actual percentage of Niihau shell in this item is 100%.
