Description

A bark-finish bezel set with original factory diamonds fronts this Rolex Lady-Datejust in 18K yellow gold, the hand-grained texture carried through the center links of the matching gold bracelet. Reference 69288 runs an automatic Caliber 2135 movement in a case measuring approximately 26 millimeters across. The serial dates the watch to about 1991, and the champagne dial carries applied gold baton markers. Bark finishing was applied by hand at Rolex and appears on only a small share of the company’s gold production, a texture no longer found in the current catalog.
