Description

This jadeite jade ring has a lovely mottled green oval cabochon in a simple silver mounting. Small paired prongs frame the smooth dome, leaving most of the green surface visible above the narrow band. A GIA report identifies the center stone as Type A jadeite jade, with no indications of dye or impregnation. The jadeite measures approximately 14.4 x 9.8 x 3.0 mm, and the ring is US size 4. Its spare setting gives the varied green tones a clear, uncomplicated frame.
