Description
Spotted off-white Momi shells in the Onikiniki coloring run the length of this single-strand Ni’ihau shell lei, strung in the Coconut style so the shells wind around the strand in a continuous spiral. It measures approximately 21 inches in length and closes with a hook and eye hidden between a matched pair of Poleholeho cowrie shells. This lei was strung entirely by hand in Hawaii from shells gathered on Ni’ihau.
This item was made in Hawaii, and is at least 80% Niihau shell. The actual percentage of Niihau shell in this item is 100%.
