Description
Ninety-four natural square sapphires in an intense violetish blue run through this Art Deco platinum bracelet, channel set in calibrated rows totaling approximately 32.40 carats. Nineteen Old European cut diamonds break the center row into alternating bead-set sections, close to 4.84 carats at G-H-I color and SI1-VS2 clarity. The design dates to circa the mid-1920s, with milgrain edging throughout and hand-engraved floral sides, the platinum tested rather than stamped. It measures approximately 6.75 inches in length and 14.1mm in width at 56.8 grams, and a recent gemologist appraisal is included.
