Description
This emerald and diamond brooch in 18K white gold has an elegant curling silhouette, with green stones scattered along delicate, branching curves. Nineteen emeralds and 27 rose-cut diamonds give the open design a pleasing balance of color and sparkle. The emeralds were described in a 2016 appraisal as heavily included with internal fracturing. The unstamped mount was acid tested as 18K gold in that appraisal. Fine loops and tapering branches leave ample open space around the stones, lending the brooch an airy appearance.
