Description

A pave diamond butterfly pendant necklace in 14K white gold, all four wings set edge to edge with round diamonds around a marquise-cut yellow sapphire standing upright as the body. The sapphire is a light golden yellow held at its points between the wings, with two curled wire antennae rising above, and the back of each wing is finished in open honeycomb work behind the stones. The braided wheat-style chain anchors behind the upper wings, so the butterfly holds its place and its posture as it is worn, and it closes with a lobster clasp, the chain stamped 14K and Italy. The piece weighs approximately 6.0 grams.
