LADY’S YELLOW GOLD, STAMPED 18K, TESTED TO BE 14K GOLD & NATURAL RUBY & SAPPHIRE FLOWER BROOCH & EARRINGS SET.
The brooch contains 6 alternating floral sets of natural red rubies & blue sapphires. approx. 48 stones measuring approx. 1.40 mm. diameters each. Weight: approx. .84 carats total.
The stones are prong set in groups of seven stones with outside stone either a ruby or sapphire in opposite groups of stones. The gold is textured leaves that are wrapped over in pairs between the floral patterns.
Diameter approx. 34.10 mm.
Has a hinged pin stem back, signed: Italy.
The matching earrings are smaller floral circles with curved leaves and two & three sets of stones alternating in prongs. 22 sapphires & rubies measure approx. 1.30 mm. diameters Weight: approx. .33 carats total.

The backs are screw back pierced posts & screwback earnuts, stamped: 14k………Circa: 1980’s
