Description
A spray of carved jade leaves in bright mottled green fills this vintage brooch, each leaf held in prongs of 14K yellow gold. Polished gold ribbons curl between the leaves, joined by what appear to be small trumpet blossoms with darkened petals, so the goldwork winds through the foliage as stems and flowers. The brooch measures approximately 72 by 40mm and carries a substantial 20.6 grams of jade and gold on the lapel.
