Description
A wide flexible bracelet of twenty-four natural oval amethysts in 14K yellow gold, the stones a light transparent violet, bezel-set in three rows of eight and totaling approximately 39.60 carats. Each amethyst is framed in a finely milled rim, and veined gold leaves link the rows, so the whole band drapes and moves with the wrist. Stamped 585 and dating to circa the 1940s, it measures about 7 3/8 inches long by 33.55mm wide and weighs close to 49.8 grams, closing with an integrated tongue clasp guarded by two figure-eight safety catches.
