Description
A natural purplish red star ruby crowns this 14K yellow gold ring, a double cabochon carrying its star across the dome, with diamonds spreading into a ballerina fan around it. Tapered baguettes radiate above and below the ruby while clusters of round brilliants fill the sides. The ruby measures approximately 9.1 by 7.0 by 6.3mm, and the ring is a size 8.5 at approximately 7.0 grams. An accompanying certificate, report 2203880935 issued in 2020, identifies the stone as a natural star ruby from Sri Lanka with no indications of heating. A certified unheated Sri Lankan star ruby is the whole reason for this ring, and the diamond fan is built to frame it.
