Description
A Ming’s carved jade dragon pendant, the stone a pale mottled gray with a hint of green, semi-translucent and cut through in openwork around the carving. The tablet measures approximately 45 by 39mm and weighs about 31 grams, topped by a pierced scrollwork bail in 14K yellow gold, and hangs on a rope chain of close to 20 inches with the clasp stamped 585. Ming’s was known for its carved jade and Asian-influenced design. Ming’s was the Honolulu jewelry house famous for its carved jade and Asian-influenced design, and it has been closed for decades. A signed Ming’s piece cannot be reissued. This dragon comes in a brocade-covered Ming’s box.
