Description
A wide band ring from Ming’s of Honolulu, its 14K yellow gold pierced through with an openwork phoenix flying between raised Greek key borders. The phoenix is engraved in fine feathered detail across the gently domed center, milgrain lines setting off the borders, and the band runs approximately 11mm wide in size 7.5, signed Ming’s inside. Ming’s was the Honolulu jewelry house famous for its carved jade and Asian-influenced design, and it has been closed for decades. A signed Ming’s piece cannot be reissued.
