Description
Cultured pearls in a soft white with a rose overtone make up this Mikimoto strand, the pearls running approximately 8.5 to 9 millimeters in diameter and knotted between every one. The strand measures approximately 18 inches in length and ends in a silver filigree clasp set with a small pearl. Mikimoto marks its strands at the clasp, and this one carries the signature there. Mikimoto created the world’s first cultured pearl, and a Mikimoto signature on pearl jewelry has meant carefully selected, well-matched pearls ever since.
