Description
Pure white Laiki rice shells, the Ke’oke’o color, make up all five strands of this Ni’ihau shell lei, strung end to end in the Pololei style. The five strands run approximately 37 inches in length and meet at a single smooth Malina cowrie, the Poleholeho shell that serves as the clasp. This lei was strung entirely by hand in Hawaii from shells gathered on Ni’ihau. The tiny rice shells are matched to one clean white from end to end.
