Expertly crafted on the island of Ni'ihau Hawaii, this lei is truly a work of art.
This piece has five strands of Laiki (rice shells) strung together in the Pololei (stacked end-to-end) style. The shells are of the Ke'oke'o (pure white) coloration and are connected by a Pōlehole Āpu'upu'u (bumpy cowry shell) that measures approximately 26mm long by 19mm wide.
The lei measures about 35 inches long, creating a 17.5 inch 'drop-length' when worn.
