Description
A long carving of mottled green jade makes up this bar brooch, the stone shading from pale at one end into rich green at the other, with rounded lobes and curling grooves cut across the full length. Small 14K yellow gold prongs hold the carving at the edges, so the gold barely interrupts the stone, and a hinged pin with a catch runs along the back. At approximately 10.6 grams, it is one long stripe of carved jade, and the carving is the whole brooch.
