Description
A star sapphire cabochon of approximately 18.5 carats crowns this ring, a smoky gray stone with a lavender cast and threads of russet running through it, held in four prongs. Textured gold petals ring the stone, each leaf-form worked with fine parallel lines and cupped in toward the cabochon, on a split shank of yellow gold. The gold tests at 20K though the band is stamped 22K, and the ring is a size 6.5.
