Held between two vertical rows of pave diamonds, the amethyst in this 18K white gold pendant runs approximately 6 carats, a rectangular mixed cut with a smooth cabochon crown over a step-cut pavilion. The two diamond rows total 0.08 carats and frame the stone without crowding its color. It hangs on a 14K white gold rope chain about 18 inches in length, the pendant falling to the top of the chest.
